Terms of Service

01The agreement

These terms govern your use of Compliant Park. By creating an account you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

02What the service is — and is not

Compliant Park does not certify compliance. It organises public records and the evidence you supply. It does not inspect your premises, does not determine whether you meet any legal requirement, and does not represent that you do.

It is not legal advice. The review file organises your evidence against published procedure. It does not choose legal strategy, represent you, or appear at a hearing. Consult an attorney before a hearing.

Inspection windows are estimates. They are calculated from published cycle rules and your own history and shown as ranges. They are not appointments. An inspection can occur at any time, including in response to a complaint.

Fine figures are estimates. They are planning ranges built from published penalty bands. They are not bills, quotes or predictions. Actual penalties are set by the relevant authority, and violations may be dismissed.

Public data may be wrong or delayed. We display what the agency publishes. We are not responsible for errors, omissions or lags in the source data.

You remain solely responsible for meeting your own regulatory obligations.

03Your account

Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. Give accurate information and keep it current. Seats are not to be shared.

04Your content

You own what you upload. Documents, notes, photographs and records you add remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and display them back to you and to others you authorise.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain anything unlawful.

05Our content

The software, design, interface, copy, and the methods by which we interpret public data — including the inspection-window model and the focused walk — are ours and protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the service; you do not receive ownership of it.

You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape or create a competing product from the service or its output, or remove any attribution.

06Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another account's data, probe or breach security controls, disrupt the service, upload malware, or use the service to break the law. We may suspend an account that does.

07Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed annually in advance to match the inspection cycle. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change on renewal, with notice.

Cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid term. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires it.

A free plan is offered with reduced limits and may change or end.

08Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features. The service depends in part on external public data sources we do not control.

09Liability

The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or for fines, penalties, closures or other regulatory outcomes affecting your business.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or non-payment. On closure we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy; export anything you want to keep first.

11General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of New York County have jurisdiction. If a provision is unenforceable the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms and will post the revised date.
